John Sutton
General Manager, Federal Sector
|
John Sutton is General Manager of Global Crossing's Federal Sector business. He is responsible for focusing the global resources of Global Crossing to better serve government customers.
Prior to joining Global Crossing, Mr. Sutton served as a versatile business executive with more than 24 years of federal business experience in the United States. He has a track record of operating, diversifying and growing technology-driven businesses.
He served for three years as Senior Vice President leading the Defense and Intelligence Business Unit with the Mission, Cyber and Technology Group at ManTech International, Inc., where he led the strategic planning, execution, growth and diversification program for a varied portfolio of customers across defense and intelligence agencies.
Earlier, Mr. Sutton had served as Senior Vice President of Advanced Programs at McDonald Bradley, Inc., acquired by ManTech in 2007, where he led strategic planning, sales and execution, and as Vice President of the Uniformed Services Practice Area for Integic Corporation.
Mr. Sutton served six years with AT&T Government Solutions as well, including time as Vice President and General Manager of the company's Applied Technologies Group in its GRC International unit.
He served with PRC Inc. for 10 years in Department of Defense program management after five years as a ship's officer in the U.S. Merchant Marine.
Mr. Sutton holds a masters degree in business administration from George Mason University School of Management, and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
