Global Crossing's Board of Directors plays a fundamental role in guiding the strategy of the company. With backgrounds from some of the world's leading companies and institutions, this diverse group of individuals lends perspective and knowledge to shaping Global Crossing's decision-making and management of operations worldwide.

In accordance with the National Security Agreement (NSA) entered into between Global Crossing and the U.S. government, the Board delegated certain responsibilities to a four-member committee composed of individuals with U.S. government security clearances. This committee and the special qualifications of its members, together with the NSA itself, further enhance Global Crossing's positioning as a network provider with the highest standards of security.
