ACCESS CALLING CARD USER GUIDE

Domestic U.S. calls

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Dial area code + number and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.

To make another call, do not hang up. Press the # key for two full seconds. At the tone, dial your next number, or press the * key for Special Features.

For 24-hour assistance: From a touchtone phone, press 00 for an operator anytime after you've dialed the toll-free number on the front of your card. From a rotary phone, dial 1-800-783-1444 and hold for an operator. (Including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands)

International calls

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Dial 011 + country code + city code + number and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.

For calls to Canada, follow the dialing directions for making a domestic U.S. call. Refer to the country code list for countries you can call with your card. (From anywhere in the U.S.)

International Origination

From Canada, Guam, Saipan, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Dial area code + number (or 011 + country code + city code + number), and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.

From other select countries

• Dial the international toll-free access number of the country from which you're calling.
• Enter your international security code. (1444)
• Dial area code + number (or 011 + country code + city code + number), and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.

Note: If the international security code is not entered, or you are calling from a rotary phone, a stateside operator will come on the line to assist you in completing your call. All international origination calls can be completed through the automated system, but you do have the option to speak with a live operator if needed.

Special Features

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Press the * key, and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.
• When you hear the Special Features menu, make your selection:
  • Speed Dial setup, press 2
  • Travel Connections, press 4
  • Flexible Call Routing, press 5
• Follow the simple, step-by-step directions.

To use the Speed Dial feature

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Dial * and wait for the prompt.
• Dial your calling code on the front of your card.
• At the prompt, enter 2 for Speed Dialing.

To create or change:

• Enter 1 for Speed Dialing programming or dialing.
• Enter 0 to program your Speed Dial numbers.
• To select a one-digit speed dial number (one through nine), enter the number.
• Enter the area code and telephone number that will correspond to that speed dial number.

To use speed dial:

• Enter 1 for Speed Dialing programming or dialing.
• Enter the Speed Dialing number to call.

Travel connections and travel connection codes
For convenient speed-dial connections to the reservation lines of most major airlines, hotels, and car rental agencies, select the Travel Connections feature through the Special Features menu and follow the prompts, or dial direct as follows (no charge):

• Dial 1-800-783-1444, and wait for the tone.
• Press the * key, and wait for the tone.
• Dial the calling code on the front of your card.
• Enter 4 for Travel Connections.
• When prompted:
  • For airlines, press 1
  • For hotels, press 2
  • For car rentals, press 3
• At the prompt, enter a two-digit Travel Connection code from the chart below.

If your card is ever lost or stolen, please call the Global Crossing Access operator or Global Crossing Customer Service immediately to help protect against unauthorized long distance calling. A new calling card code and card will be issued to you promptly.

Helpful Dialing Hints

• Before the other party hangs up, press the # key for two seconds or more to place another call without having to reenter the access number or your code.
• For operator assistance, dial 00 anytime after dialing the Global Crossing Access number.
