MTS Mobility is a new method of working delivered by Global Crossing and OGCbuying.solutions using Siemen's HiPath Mobility technology. It brings new flexibility and freedom to office-based employees, while at the same time providing the benefits of full telephony communication and cost management. For employees who are already working remotely, it brings the functionality of the office telephone system to wherever they are.
Remote Working is designed for you to conduct business as if you were seated at your own desk, even while away from the office in locations that are not part of the MTS network, e.g. working from home.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Flexibility - can be accessed from a home telephone line, mobile phone, hotel room, or any other UK telephone on-net or off-net.
- Full functionality - all telephone features are available to the user including but not limited to Call Back, Transfer Call and Conference Call.
- No additional call costs - the use of a free-phone number means there are normally no additional costs incurred by the user from any off-net UK fixed telephone line.
- Virtual office - internal and external callers are not aware that the remote worker is not in the office. Calls to users with display telephones at other extensions on the telephone system, or across the MTS network, see the user's normal extension number as if they were sitting at their desk.
- Cost effective - with more people working from outside of a central office, accommodation costs can be reduced as less office space is required.
