Adapt Broadens International Appeal With Global Crossing

Agreement supports international expansion for the Virtual Network Operator

London - July 30, 2007 -- Independent Virtual Network Operator (VNO), Adapt, today announces an agreement with global IP solutions provider, Global Crossing, under which Adapt will utilise Global Crossing's IP backbone to provide global connectivity and services to their customers operating internationally. The relationship will support Adapt's long term strategy to expand internationally and will address the growing international requirements of its expanding customer base.

Global Crossing provides telecommunications solutions over an integrated global IP-based network. Its core network connects more than 320 cities in 31 countries worldwide, and delivers services to more than 600 cities in 60 countries and 6 continents around the globe. The agreement will facilitate Adapt's aggressive plans for new business overseas, building upon the company's strong UK customer base.

"Global Crossing's integrated IP network, which was designed for the convergence of voice, video and data, is ideally suited to support the needs of growing regional providers that seek to expand their service offerings abroad," said Derek Lister, vice president of carrier sales, UK, Global Crossing. "Adapt has won some impressive business in the UK with organizations with international networking requirements and this will assist us in our drive to target a broader range of customers with new IP services."

"As an independent VNO we are free to use the networks of any provider. Key to the VNO approach, and delivering a quality service to our customer, is to attain mutual accreditation with the best of breed suppliers around the world, so Global Crossing is a key provider for us," commented Peter Knight, CEO of Adapt. "Many organisations are beginning to realise the benefits they can achieve by converging their networks on an international basis, so it is a significant step forward for Adapt to be able to provide Global Crossing's IP solutions. This will considerably strengthen our global proposition."

As a VNO, Adapt is not compelled to sweat sunken assets; instead they design, build and manage solutions based around their customers' own unique requirements. This approach, using the assets of multiple providers, offers the customers real choice and the best value for money available.

"Adapt is dedicated to offering the most appropriate, tailored solutions for any organisation whether that be in the UK or across the globe," adds Knight. "With our experience, expertise and stability, Adapt will be the natural choice for businesses looking to partner with an independent provider with a global reach."

In order to provide services to every corner of the globe, Adapt is also looking to form strategic alliances with key regional network operators, ensuring resilient, high performance inter-connection agreements and allowing the company to transport voice and data seamlessly across multiple networks.
