Global Crossing and KPN Sign Contract to Extend Internet Reach

Basingstoke & Naarden, 14 November 2007 - Leading global IP solutions provider Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC) has signed a contract with KPN International, a leading provider of advanced IP and data services, to become one of KPN's providers of global IP Transit services. The agreement will enable KPN to support the accelerating Internet traffic growth from its residential, enterprise and wholesale customers

The contract serves the domestic Internet Service Providers (ISPs) of KPN in the Netherlands, Planet Internet and XS4ALL. In addition, KPN selected Global Crossing as a preferred vendor for IP Transit services in the UK and for optical wavelength services across the global network.

Global Crossing IP Transit Service offers international carriers and ISPs upstream Internet connectivity to all worldwide domains connected in Europe, U.S. and the rest of the world. IP Transit leverages the worldwide Global Crossing network, allowing access to more than 100,000 route miles of one of the most advanced fiber-based IP network in the world.
