Our quarter started out on a high note in December 2006 when Capacity Magazine named Global Crossing "Global Provider of the Year" for the second year in a row! This award recognizes Global Crossing's outstanding customer service, network availability and full suite of product offerings. We pledge to continue to earn that recognition by providing you an ever-enriched portfolio of capabilities to meet your growing needs.

To that end, our feature story this quarter highlights for you some Collaboration Services that will help you eliminate geographic borders, increase productivity, and reduce costs for your end users. Global Crossing Ready-Access® Audio, Ready-Access Web Meeting, Event Call and video conferencing are flexible services that offer audio calls and full integration with the web, as well as video capabilities that will enable you to offer a competitive-edge "triple play" capability of audio, web, and video to your customers.

We're also pleased to announce three new enhancements to our Global Crossing VoIP Services. First, we're expanding our Global Crossing VoIP Outbound Services to Mexico. Second, we've expanded the availability of Global Crossing Local Service into Italy and added 83 more rate centers in the United States. And, finally, we've further enhanced our VoIP Peering and end-to-end IP solutions by joining the Voice Peering Fabric, and by working exclusive with Acme Packets to create a "Connected Universe" program. Both initiatives are designed to provide you IP connectivity and interconnections with other IP carrier members.

We've also enriched our carrier services portfolio in the United Kingdom and Germany through our Fibernet acquisition. The Ethersphere and Etherline services provide national and metropolitan expansion of these capabilities in the United Kingdom. Other portfolio additions include Global Crossing Frankfurt and London Carrier Ring offers that provide additional connectivity to all major telehotel facilities. The London Carrier Ring also offers IP Carrier Ring to enable protocol conversion and traffic exchange.

Global Crossing continues to strive to meet your growing bandwidth needs as we expand our core capacity. Check out the In the News section for information about a new point of presence facility in Helsinki, Finland. This location provides you with direct access to global IP solutions and network access to Finland. We've also recently upgraded the capacity of our Atlantic Crossing-1 and Atlantic Crossing – 2 submarine cable network, Read the details in our Product News section.
