WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
Having successfully emerged from bankruptcy, Global Crossing shows some of the greatest promise of the service providers we discuss. This relatively young Communications Service Provider’s current position is far less entrenched than any of the other carriers, all of whose roots go back for decades—some more than 100 years. During the last few years, Global Crossing rose from its ashes to build a network and capture a core and growing group of customers that enabled it to improve its gross margin to 41% from 36% when comparing third quarter 2006 to third quarter 2005.

"Global Crossing is an increasingly attractive partner for regional service providers serving the global enterprise market. The Global Partner Program delivers an attractive range of services across Global Crossing's global MPLS network coupled with extensive partner support."

"Current Analysis is positive on Global Crossing’s Global Partner Program, which has passed its 50-partner milestone. This milestone represents not only another step in Global Crossing’s transformation of its wholesale segment, but the success of a collaborative model where the wholesale provider offers more than just network connectivity. Wholesale providers are increasingly looking to move away from transactional sales to models that incorporate managed and professional services that deepen the relationship with their partners. Global Crossing’s GPP offers customers the sales, technical, and operational support those customers might need to succeed in launching services into their markets."
