Carrier Connections

Welcome from Ted Higase
Executive VP, Worldwide Carrier Sales

Welcome to our 2nd Quarter 2007 issue of the Carrier Connections newsletter. For the past few months, we've been looking forward to the day when we could say our efforts to join forces with Impsat are complete. May 9, 2007, marked that day. Ted Higase

We're very excited about the tremendous growth opportunities the Latin American region represents. In this edition our feature story outlines for you some of the advantages and benefits you'll gain now that we've expanded our capabilities in this region. Global Crossing has even more depth and reach now thanks to the additional POP and network density in Latin America, complemented by the scale we have achieved in North America and that we are building in the UK with our recent acquisition of Fibernet. And we're especially excited about what our Impsat acquisition offers you.

Throughout these transitions, we continue to strive to meet and exceed your expectations. This issue's Product News section highlights two offer enhancements that will improve the experience you have doing business with Global Crossing. First, we've improved our uCommand Web Portal to include a new user interface, more direct access to product and pricing information, and easier access to an interactive map overlaying our network capabilities. Secondly, we've changed our policy regarding demarcation extensions, making it easier for you to extend an access vendor's local loop to a specific location within your facility beyond the traditional circuit delivery minimum point of entry. The Product News section also has updates on our new London and Frankfurt Carrier Ring services, our network plans for Infinera builds in North America, and our Subsea expansions. Each of these outlines the benefits of interconnecting with Global Crossing for your network expansion and service needs.

On a final note, I'm looking forward to meeting with many of you at the Intelsat Global Telecommunications Meeting (GTM) in Washington, D.C., from May 21 - 23.

Please continue to share with us your thoughts and ideas by emailing your feedback to carrierconnections@globalcrossing.com

All the Best,

Ted
